Dr Renjie Mi is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Fellow at the University of Cambridge. He obtained his PhD at the City University of Hong Kong in 2021. Prior to joining the University of Cambridge, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr Mi’s research interests focus on the carbonation modelling, carbon sequestration and carbon calculation of cement-based materials. So far, he has published nearly 40 peer-reviewed journal papers and has a growing citation record. Dr Mi has received four research grants totalling ~£300k and has two granted patents.

Dr Mi is the member of RILEM technical committees (e.g., 273-RAC, 281-CCC, and 286-GDP) and the invited reviewer for some SCI journals (e.g., Constr. Build. Mater., Case Stud. Constr. Mater., J. Mater. Civ. Eng. and J. Compos. Constr.). Additionally, he was the editor of the proceedings and the secretary-general of the organising committee of the Sixth International Workshop on Seawater Sea-sand Concrete Structures Reinforced with FRP Composites. He is also a guest editor of the special issue in the journal Sustainability.
