Travelling by car to the Schofield Centre

In order to avoid the busy Cambridge city centre it is advisable to arrive from the west by leaving the M11 at junction 13 (northbound). Heading southwards you will need to leave the M11 at junction 12 and follow the signs to M11 Northbound, leaving the M11 at junction 13. Turn right onto the A1303 in the direction of Cambridge City Centre and right again into High Cross See Map. The Schofield Centre is marked with a red pin on the map. Please Note: If you are using a GPS-Satnav you may need to put in the postcode as CB3 0ET.

The Madingley Road Park and Ride site is directly across the road and a little to the right from the Schofield Centre and offers an easy form of travel to/from the Drummer Street bus station in the city centre. Bus number 77 serves this route.

The University funds the Route 'U' which runs from Eddington (North West Cambridge Site) via the main Engineering Department, Cambridge Railway Station (Stop 1) and on to Addenbrooke's Hospital and Biomedical Campus via many University sites. The service runs frequently throughout the day. There is an £1 fare for any single journey to University Card holders for the 'U' service. Standard rates apply for all other bus services.

Details of the routes and timetables can be viewed at Route U and on the University website https://www.environment.admin.cam.ac.uk/travel

You can follow the new service on Twitter @busuniversal.
