Biography

Zhengyao is currently a Ph.D candidate at Geotechnical and Environmental Research Group, University of Cambridge. His research mainly focuses on the application of centrifuge model in dynamic seismic analysis. After obtaining his Bachelor of engineering degree with first class honors at University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2020, Zhengyao has employed with Pells Sullivan Meynink (PSM) as a graduate Geotechnical engineer before he joined University of Cambridge. In addition, Zhengyao was interned with PSM as a causal Geotechnical engineering assistant from 2019 to 2020. During his professional career, Zhengyao has been involved in numerous civil construction and earthwork projects at Sydney including geotechnical site investigation and construction supervision. He has also involved in the design of Sydney Westconnex Rozelle Interchange, Brisbane Cross River Rail and provided construction phase services (CPS) as a Geotechnical consultant during Rozelle Interchange construction.
