The Geotechnical and Environmental Group workshop took place on Monday, 29 June 2020. This annual event is generously sponsored by Atkins and brings together the whole Group for a day of presentations by first year PhD students and posters by second year PhD students. The top four MEng geotechnical projects from Division D were also presented by the students.
This year was exceptionally challenging for everyone. Teaching and research was affected by the global pandemic and due to COVID-19 related government restrictions, our event was also held online. Despite all the difficulties, the standard of research presented by our students was very high and we had some very positive feedback!
