17th BGA Young Geotechnical Engineers Symposium
The Young Geotechnical Engineers Symposium 2024 will be held by the University of Cambridge on July 1-3, 2024. YGES2024 will bring together students and early career researchers and practicing engineers to discuss the latest advances in geotechnical engineering and to address the current challenges in ground engineering. This will be an excellent opportunity to showcase exciting and innovative projects, gain valuable feedback, and build relationships.
To be eligible for an oral presentation, industry delegates should be under 35 years of age on the first day of the Symposium. However, there is no age limit for students.
There is no restriction on topic but the presentation must demonstrate innovation in research, design or construction in geotechnical engineering. We welcome submissions from both academic research and industry projects.
The best presentation at the Symposium will be invited to present at the BGA conference at the ICE in London in June 2025.
