Biography

Originally, my research interests in Railway Technical Research Institute (RTRI) and in Tokyo University of Science have been transportation demand prediction models, travel behavior modeling, analyzing some characteristics of transportation demand by statistical methods, transportation network analyses and solving some optimization problems of railway service supply.

Currently, I have been mainly charge of the research as for optimization problems of designing Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) for monitoring conditions of infrastructures, in Cambridge. On my research, I always try to apply my optimization techniques to solve the WSN optimization, where characteristics gained through real operations of WSN in real sites are taken into consideration. I also want to exchange some academic and practical information with many people particularly in railway industry markets.

I hope my staying in Cambridge to be fruitful for my colleagues in the Department of Engineering, RTRI and myself.
