A position is available for a Research Assistant or Research Associate in the Department of Engineering.
A position is available for a Research Assistant or Research Associate in the Department of Engineering, funded by the International Centre for Advanced Materials (http://www.icam-online.org/). The post holder will work on a collaborative research project involving BP, Imperial College and the University of Manchester.
The post holder will be part of a team researching wellbore stability and management strategies. The focus of the appointment will be in the development of experimental devices and techniques to assess behaviour of soft rocks and wellbore strengthening techniques. Test protocols and interpretation of results will also be required. Close collaboration with the other project partners will be essential.
The post holder will be located in West Cambridge Cambridgeshire, UK.
