Biography:

Jonathan joined the Geotechnical and Environmental Group in 2014 as a PhD student. He is a member of Christ’s College. Jonathan’s research investigates the simulation of hydrodynamics and pollutant transports in Poyang Lake of China, under the supervision of Dr. Dongfang Liang. Jonathan is the recipient of Cambridge University Department of Engineering William George Collins Endowment Fund, School of Technology Fieldwork Fund, and Christ's College PhD Travel and Research Fund.

Jonathan graduated from Imperial College London in 2012 with a MEng degree in Civil Engineering and the Associate of the City and Guilds Institute (ACGI). He then furthered his studies at University of Cambridge and obtained an MPhil degree (Distinction) in Engineering for Sustainable Development. His MPhil dissertation looked at saline wastewater treatment using halophilic bacteria.
